In this position you will be responsible for guest registration, making reservations, and providing guests with information about the hotel and the local area. If you have a knack for customer service and previous service-related work experience, we'd like to meet you.Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, a Colwen Hotels property, is a fully reimagined, castle-inspired destination featuring newly renovated guestrooms, elevated event spaces, and three vibrant dining outlets. Join our team and be part of an exciting new chapter as we bring this refreshed hotel experience to life for every guest.General Responsibilities:Operate the front desk and assist guests with inquiries and other needs during pre-arrival, registration, stay, checkout, and post-departure.Provide exceptional guest serviceEfficiently manages the operations of the front desk, ensure check in and check out is timelyWarmly and professionally welcome all guestsProcess guest check-in: confirm reservations, assign guest roomsTreat requests with professionalism, tact, and courteous manner; act with a sense of urgencyEnsure that all complaints regarding service and/or accommodations are investigated and resolvedMaintain knowledge of hotel policies including rates, discounts, special offers and community eventsMaintain knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel offeringsEnsure prompt delivery of billing to guestsProcess all payments types e.g. charges, cash, checks, debit or credit cardsDiscreetly handle confidential guest informationCoordinate with Housekeeping Department to track room readiness and communicate guest requests and concernsEnsure lobby and shared areas are neat and orderlyAdhere to all Colwen and brand standardsMaintain STRICT key controlsPerform other related duties as assigned, you may be required to perform a variety of different job duties and functions in various departments during the course of a shiftRequirements:One year of related experience, hotel preferredPrior brand experience preferredBilingual - English/SpanishExcellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSuperior interpersonal and customer service sills, ability to deal with difficult guestsFamiliarity with local area, ability to provide directions and maps to local attractions and destinationsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and common computer software programsAbility to learn computer software programs and operate property management systemWillingness to work 7-day rotational work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysWe've got you covered: Benefits & PerksMedical Insurance with Company-Funded HRADental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsWide-Array of Supplemental Insurance OfferingsPaid Time Off ProgramsEmployee Assistance Program401K Plan Traditional & Roth Options with Employer MatchHotel Discount Travel Program for Associates & FamilyExclusive Associate Discounts Travel, Entertainment, & RetailTraining and Development ProgramsCareer Advancement OpportunitiesCompensation:Hourly Range: $17.00 to $18.00Colwen Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
