Mini-Bus Driver

Special Education Bus DriverCandidates must obtain and hold a yellow card through the state of Indiana. This allows the driver to transport Special Education students in the state of Indiana.Job Requirements:Take and pass all assessments involved in the Indiana Department of Education's three day pre-service classPass a physical (Frontier School Corporation will reimburse for the cost of the physical)Observe four (4) hours with a Frontier School Corporation Bus Driver holding a CDLDrive eight (8) hours with a Frontier School Corporation Bus Driver holding a CDLTake the annual safety class from the Indiana Department of Education prior to December 31, 2021.Be able to communicate effectively with studentsBe able to maintain discipline on the bus while drivingBe able to do trouble shooting for minor maintenance issues on the busBoard the bus and walk to the back of the bus. At the back of the bus, get out the back door.
