Intermodal Business Coordinator ( {{city}})

Job DutiesManage our customers' business to ensure compliance with their requirements. Schedule appointments at shippers and consignees while staying focused on customer-requested dates and ensuring parameters are set accordingly. Process orders in Alliance operating system as needed. Update with the current shipment daily. Build relationships with shippers, consignees, and customers to gain a complete understanding of processes, requirements, and business demands, as well as a full understanding of routing and transit schedules. Build relationships with dray carriers to gain a better understanding of each dray carrier's capabilities, schedules, and availability. Communicate with dray carriers and rails to establish our customers' requirements for their freight. Ensure the timely execution of pickup and delivery functions takes place on each customer order. Resolve and communicate to the customer any problems or issues with that customer's shipments. Fulfill customer portal obligations. Assist with trailer pool management as needed, both at origin and destination. Communicate to proper Alliance management any issues that are outside the SOP's and the measurements established by Alliance. RequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther
