Receiving InspectorFullerton, California, United StatesPosition Overview:The Receiving Inspector will play a key role in verifying incoming parts and components meet quality, engineering, and customer specifications before entering production.SHIFT: 7am - 4:30pmResponsibilities:Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts, hose assemblies, and machined componentsEnsure conformance to engineering drawings and specificationsUse tools including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and comparatorsComplete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and maintain accurate inspection recordsCommunicate findings with internal teams and suppliersSupport occasional in-process inspections and internal auditsFollow company safety policies, quality procedures, and 5S standardsRequirements:Minimum 1 year of inspection experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong blueprint reading and basic GD&T understandingProficient in the use of manual inspection toolsComfortable documenting inspection results and communicating with teamsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) per ITAR regulationsVision: 20/25 or better (corrective lenses acceptable); cannot be colorblindCompensation & Benefits:$27 - $28/hr starting rateYear-end performance review eligibilityOpportunity to join a well-established quality team with room to growMedical, Dental, Vision, 401kAbout Elevant Recruiting:At Elevant, we specialize in connecting manufacturing and industrial employers with the skilled talent that keeps operations running strong.
