At A&H Security Services, we combine safety with exceptional service to exceed client expectations.Role Description The Director of Finance will play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial operations, with a strong focus on contract administration, certified payroll compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions. This individual will work cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting, assist in collections, and support the preparation of proposals and contractual deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in both finance and operational support functions.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required), advanced degree or professional certification preferred (Master’s degree or CPA is a plus) 5–7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles Strong understanding of certified payroll and contract-based financial environments preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Finance practicesPreferred Qualifications: Experience working with government contracts or prevailing wage environments Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., WinTeam or similar platforms)Work Environment & Expectations: Office-based role High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines Strong collaboration with internal teams including operations, compliance, and executive leadershipIn accordance with New York State's Pay Transparency Law, the anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, and skills.
