Hardware Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a mature dedicated and knowledgeable Hardware Associate to join our team. Must possess a strong work ethic and capable of showing up on time ready to work. Dependability is a must. Ability to work a varied schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their hardware needs, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a passion for helping customers, and the ability to work effectively in a retail environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable advice on hardware products and their uses. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Ability to perform opening or closing duties. Maintain an organized stock area and ensure shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing. Utilize effective phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. Helping customers load merchandise Some heavy lifting required. Mechanical abilities. Able to assemble products Stock shelves Operate forklift Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with hardware products, tools, lawn and garden products.
