Physician Clinical Reviewer-Oncologist- REMOTE

For our client, we are seeking a Physician Clinical Reviewer-Oncologist- REMOTE to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will provide business-aligned guidance that supports growth while managing legal, regulatory, and operational risk. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to turn complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen governance, improve decision-making, and support responsible execution within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $188,000 – $320,000 annuallyResponsibilities Reviews complex case determinations escalated from Initial Clinical Reviewers Discusses findings with physicians/providers within regulatory timeframes Provides clinical rationale for appeals assessments Acts as a resource for Initial Clinical Reviewers on case discussions Ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines during reviews Documents all communications accurately and promptly Participates in ongoing training and reliability testing Assists in research activities related to utilization management May serve in a Medical Director capacity for select plansQualifications Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), MD, or MBBS degree required Minimum of 5 years clinical experience Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Experience in utilization management is preferred Familiarity with URAC and NCQA guidelines is a plusBenefits Access to comprehensive health insurance packages Flexible work arrangements, including remote work Continuous professional development opportunities Participation in employee wellness programs Supportive company culture emphasizing purpose over profitsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
