Sit- Down Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Warehouse PositionThe role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products within the warehouse located in Elyria, OH. This includes loading and unloading trucks, accurately scanning materials using RF equipment, and ensuring proper staging and storage of material.Pay rate: $17.50 per hourShift: Monday-Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pmThis is a temp-to-hire position.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyUse RF scanners to accurately track and record inventoryStack, stage, and transport materials within the warehouseVerify products against paperwork for accuracy, including product, product count size, count of pallets, carrier, correct labels, and packing list locationArrange cartons on pallets and load trucks while considering size, weight, height, and other characteristicsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow all company safety policies and proceduresComplete assigned tasks in a timely manner while maintaining productivityCollaborate effectively with team members and maintain productivityAbility to work cooperatively with othersQualifications & RequirementsBasic math skillsStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracyAbility to verify products against documentationAbility to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs consistentlyAbility to stand and work for extended periodsStrong teamwork and cooperation skillsAdditional InformationCandidates will be required to complete a forklift skills assessment during the interview processAll submitted resumes will be forwarded to our Senior Supervisor for reviewInterviews will be scheduled for candidates who meet the qualifications and appear to be a good fitNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
