You will also play a key role in coordinating systems, stakeholders, and testing efforts tied to enterprise applications and project controls modernization efforts. You will serve as a technical leader and SME, helping guide teams and improve project execution across major programs.Responsibilities and DutiesProject Controls LeadershipLead development and execution of project controls programsProvide technical leadership in cost, schedule, estimating, and financial analysisDevelop project baselines, WBS structures, and milestone schedulesCost & Schedule ManagementMonitor and control project cost and schedule performancePerform variance analysis and recommend corrective actionsSupport change management processesReporting & AnalysisPrepare and present financial and project performance reportsLead project cost reviews and schedule meetingsConduct complex analysis to support decision-makingSystems & ToolsUtilize tools such as Primavera P6, EVMS, and cost systemsMaintain and enhance site business systemsSupport development of improved project controls processesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentProvide mentorship and technical direction to project controls personnelSupport training and development initiativesDrive best practices across project controls functionsAdditional Duties (Systems & Project Coordination)Manage logistics between Ideagen and SRNS, including onboarding, badging (PIV), equipment, and system accessEnsure system and account access is maintained for all project personnelMaintain and track project schedules, progress, and resource allocation (Ideagen and site stakeholders)Coordinate in-person meetings, scheduling, and logistics between project teamsCoordinate project resources for module testing (configuration, UAT, etc.)Support testing execution and training development for system modulesParticipate in configuration review testing and validation activitiesFacilitate discussions to resolve project board items and issuesSupport communication and status reporting between classified and unclassified systems (EPS / STAR)Participate in status meetings across multiple system environmentsLead planning and execution of testing activities prior to go-live, including:Module testingIntegration/comprehensive testingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Coordinate issue resolution with Ideagen Application Engineers and ensure successful retestingTools & SkillsPrimavera P6 (preferred advanced experience)Cost management & estimating systemsEarned Value Management Systems (EVMS)Advanced Excel and reporting toolsSite business systemsEnterprise systems (Ideagen / DevonWay preferred)Minimum QualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredMaster's + 5 years, Bachelor's + 7 years, Associate's + 11 years, or HS + 15 years relevant experienceStrong experience in project controls (cost, schedule, estimating, financial analysis)Expert proficiency with project controls tools and systemsStrong leadership, analytical, and communication skillsRequired SkillsEducation:Master's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or related field with 5 years experienceOR Bachelor's with 7 yearsOR Associate's with 11 yearsOR High School Diploma with 15 years relevant experienceCore Skills:Strong personal computer skillsExpert proficiency in automated accounting, cost management, scheduling, and estimating systemsPractical experience with site business systemsComprehensive understanding of project management, cost and schedule control, and lifecycle phases (operations, maintenance, startup, construction)Preferred SkillsActive or recent DOE L or Q clearanceHighly experienced in Primavera P6Working knowledge of Ideagen / DevonWay iCAS EPS and Issues Management modulesExperience reviewing/approving Level I and Level II Purchase RequisitionsAdditional Education (Preferred)Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business AdministrationAdditional DetailsProject Supported: PPOPInterview Process: Teams or PhoneEvaluation Criteria (PF-81):Price/Cost: 20%Technical Acceptability: 40%Availability & Qualifications: 40%Duration: 1 year contract with (2) optional 1-year extensionsOptions not guaranteed (Hiring Manager discretion)3.5% annual escalation includedEstimated Hours: 2080 ST / 200 OT annuallyWork Environment: 100% onsite (local or relocation required at candidate's expense)Why Work at COMPA Industries?We don't just offer jobs—we build careers.
