Electrical Planner/Scheduler

(Job ID# ASM24EPS485) Location: Hampton, Virginia Description AS&M has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join the AS&M Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering (CMOE) Team in Hampton, Virginia! The CMOE contract includes a broad scope of research and institutional facility-related maintenance, operations, and engineering support services. Responsibilities Planning and scheduling of all proactive and reactive maintenance for high and low voltage electrical teams. Procure materials needed for craft task execution in a timely manner. Work with the Maintenance Period Coordinator and Utility Outage Coordinator to ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are completed on schedule. Support the Work Control Center as needed. Track all proactive and reactive maintenance work orders by priority. Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required. Minimum of two (2) years college or vocational training and six (6) to eight (8) years of related experience in planning and scheduling and/or maintenance field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and written with effective use of visual aids. Should be able to use computing technology for problem analysis and solution. Work Environment Office environment. (75%) Test facilities and active work site environment – loud noise and potentially hazardous equipment operation.
