Other centers associated with MercyOne Central Iowa include:MercyOne West Des Moines Medical CenterMercyOne Centerville Medical CenterMercyOne Newton Medical CenterMercyOne Children's HospitalMercyOne Clive Rehabilitation HospitalHouse of MercyClive Behavioral Health**Relocation assistance available based on your current location**We welcome new grads and techs with experience!Shift Hours: Evenings 1130-2200What you will do:· Performs C.T. procedures on scheduled shifts including emergency callback and operates C.T. equipment.· Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.· Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.· Instructs, supervises, and evaluates student technologists.· Demonstrates proficiency in performing all exams according to protocol. Maintains the physical environment of the department in a clean, well-stocked, orderly manner.· Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner, reporting any malfunctions to manager/Bio-med.· Complies with OSHA/JCAHO and other regulatory agency recommendations and guidelines.Qualifications:Must have relevant credentials as defined below:Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).Previous CT experience preferred.
