Project Engineer

No referral fees will be entertained.Work Authorization: US CITIZEN AND GREENCARD ONLY!!!Onsite RoleMust be residing in Roebuck, SC or an hour drive to Roebuck, SCReview customer technical specifications and drawings3–15 years of project engineering experience in: Process engineering, Industrial manufacturing, Heavy industrial construction or related environmentsFabrication, pressure vessels, tanks, or industrial equipmentOverview:This role supports engineering, estimating, and project management functions within a heavy industrial / fabrication environment. Candidates should be comfortable working across the full project lifecycle from design review through fabrication and field execution, while maintaining client communication.Responsibilities:Review customer technical specifications and drawingsDevelop designs based on customer plans and applicable codesWork with codes including ASME Section VIII, API, AWWA, NFPA, ASIC, and building codesGenerate shop fabrication and field erection cost estimatesPrepare subcontractor RFQ packagesReview customer terms and conditionsDevelop and issue technical and commercial proposalsCoordinate internal project activities (drafting, purchasing, fabrication, field erection)Manage subcontractors and contract changesMaintain ongoing communication with customers throughout project lifecycleQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering3–15 years of project engineering experience in:Process engineeringIndustrial manufacturingHeavy industrial construction or related environmentsPE license or PMP certification preferred, not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsTarget Background:Fabrication, pressure vessels, tanks, or industrial equipmentEPC or industrial construction environmentsExperience with estimating, proposals, and project coordinationExposure to both office and field operations preferredWould consider candidates with a structural engineering background (commercial or petrochemical projects)
