We want to help them stay as active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possibleWe are seeking a Protective Services Specialist to provide primary screening of intakes to protective services, perform training and quality assurance activities and assist with administrative tasksWhat You'll DoReview and evaluate protective services intake reportsCommunicate with Centralized Intake Unit regarding intakesConsult with Program staff on issues of potential abuseElicit and document accurate information pertaining to the possible abuse/neglect of older adultsPerform activities including training to ensure program effectiveness and quality assurance Scan case-related documents and attach appropriately to electronic system recordPerform general administrative dutiesDemonstrate OCES Core ValuesParticipate in home visits as neededWhat You'll BringYour passion for helping others and desire to make a differenceBachelors degree in Social Work or related field required.Current Social Work License preferred.Two years' social service work experience, preferably in protective services or relatedKnowledge of the social, emotional and physical processes of agingAbility to interpret, understand and adhere to complex regulations, standards and proceduresWhat You'll GetAbility to work with an enthusiastic team of like-minded individualsOpportunity to develop professionally in your chosen careerGreat work/life balance: 35-hour work week with some flexibility; standard M-F workweekHybrid work environment (home, office and home visits).Exceptional benefits: generous paid time off policies; company paid LTD and life insurances, 401K planWe can't wait to hear from you...So take that next step and apply today!OCES is celebrating 50 years of service to the Plymouth County area!
