Overview In this role you lead the design, development, and delivery of large-scale software solutions, mentoring engineers and aligning technical work with business goals. You will drive architecture, code quality, and deployment practices across front-end and back-end layers for systems serving thousands of users. You partner with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans and improve performance and availability. ResponsibilitiesLead a team of software engineers in design, development, and implementation of multiple applicationsPerform and lead detailed technical design, coding, code review, and testing of new and enhanced applicationsAct as SME for specified systems and related applicationsDevelop and analyze interface design documentationEnsure compliance with hardware and software standards and proceduresDeliver large systems for tens of thousands of usersMentor junior developers and support project managers as technical leadIdentify gaps in requirements and propose solutions and risk mitigation actionsPlan transformation initiatives to new software architectures and extend open-source libraries as neededMaintain code quality, deployment standards, and CI/CD practices Key requirementsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science; 8 years of software design, development, testing, and requirements managementProficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Batch, Microservices; extensive backend and frontend experienceAWS cloud migration experience (minimum 3 years)IBM MQ experienceExperience with cloud and database technologies (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelinesAbility to estimate technical costs and communicate with clients and stakeholdersExperience deploying global applications and managing resources (hardware, software, licenses)Ability to mentor and lead teams; strong communication skillsExperience with tests (TDD/BDD) and automated testing practicesstrong communication skillsmentoring and leadershipstakeholder collaborationJava, Spring, Spring Batch, MicroservicesAWS cloud migration; cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)Database technologies: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
