Warehouse Lead/2:00pm - 10:30 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processing and requisitioning of supplies; delivering, and packaging materials for shipment.
Supervise and coordinate Warehouse Personnel and activities which include the receipt, and storage, to meet productivity goals, operating objectives, and warehouse maintenance functions.
Coordinate new and current employee training to include, but not limited to the following: personal safety, forklift safety, warehouse policy, and procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies related to shipping, receiving, and inventory. Research errors and implement corrective actions.
Prepare work schedules to include, but not limited to: work assignments/rotations, employee training, breaks, overtime assignments, and coverage for vacation/personal absences.
Address and review personnel complaints and grievances ensuring compliance with appropriate company procedures and they are resolved effectively and efficiently without preferences or judgment.
Assist Full-Time Supervisor in developing plans and programs for process improvement.
Assist Full-Time Supervisor in compiling productivity and reliability statistics for management.
Complete daily sanitation schedule and process end-shift paperwork.
Ensure that warehouse is maintained in a sanitary manner according to Company standards.
Consistently inform Full-Time Supervisor of potential problems and changes.
Act as backup in the absence of Full-Time Supervisor.
Review and approve employee time and attendance records.
Address performance problems through corrective action and dismissal.
QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
High School diploma, GED or equivalency required. Working on a college degree preferred.
Exhibits solid leadership ability
Demonstrates sound problem-solving skills
Displays dedication to a high standard or performance
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have reach truck experience
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
Basic Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Experience with warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology
Use of terminology of requisitions, invoices, and other warehouse documents
Operation of warehouse equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Experience utilizing WMS, RF Guns/Scanners
ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen).
Must have a valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS
Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking to perform assigned tasks.
Occasional lifting of 25 - 50 lbs. is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Activities occur both inside and outside.
Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts.
Employee is subjected to extreme cold while supervising in the freezer.
