Material Scientist (Composites/Thermal Management)
Job Location: Oceanside, CA
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Sciences/Master of Sciences in Material Sciences
Material science experience such as composite materials, polymer, inorganic chemistry, or metallurgy.
Thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, thermal analysis, surface observation experience
Strong awareness of safety of chemicals and reactions, ability to handle materials that are sensitive to air, light, and moisture.
Proven ability to follow detailed SOPs and perform analytical techniques such as SEM, XRD, FT-IR, TG-DSC, UV-Vis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and formulate new products in the broad fields of organic, inorganic and hybrid materials
Maintain excellent laboratory records, and write reports and research summaries
Interact closely with other scientists to develop comprehensive solutions
Participate in intellectual property creation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
