Job Title: Privacy Compliance EngineerType: W-2 ContractDuration: 3 monthsLocation: Cupertino, CA (Onsite/Hybrid)Pay Rate: $82.09/hrOverviewWe are seeking a Privacy Compliance Engineer to partner with legal, privacy, and engineering teams to ensure systems and processes align with evolving privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role focuses on translating regulatory requirements into actionable technical implementations and driving compliance initiatives across infrastructure and applications.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with legal and privacy teams to interpret and apply privacy laws, regulations, and internal policiesSupport the development of new privacy policies and implement associated processes and proceduresAssess infrastructure and applications for compliance with evolving privacy requirementsIdentify compliance gaps and develop remediation and risk mitigation plansTranslate legal and regulatory requirements into technical implementation plansPartner with engineering teams to support execution and ensure alignment with privacy standardsSupport compliance reporting, documentation, and audit-related activitiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to privacy compliance processes and controlsMinimum Qualifications7+ years of experience in privacy compliance and/or privacy engineeringStrong understanding of GDPR and CCPA regulationsExperience conducting compliance assessments, audits, and risk evaluationsProficiency in reporting, analysis, and compliance documentationStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Compliance, Data Privacy, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related fieldStrong project management and cross-functional coordination skillsAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated environmentsAdditional DetailsW-2 only (no C2C or sponsorship)High-visibility role supporting privacy and compliance initiatives across engineering and operations teams
