The SSE is also considered an organizational thought leader for their specialty area.Must be in PSTResponsibilities Active participation in the AHEAD SSE and service delivery teamsBe a thought leader for AHEAD clients, responsible for designing, architecting technical solutionsSupport the sales teams during engagements by providing advice and solutions or proposals optimized to meet customer technical and business requirementsDevelop relationships with other Observability SSE team members, leaders, and partners in support of sales objectivesStrategize and execute technical sales callsComplete required pre-sales documentation (configurations, pricing, services, presentations, justifications, etc.) quickly and accuratelyQualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, decision-making process, and fundingPresent and market the design and value of proposed AHEAD solutions and business justification to customers, prospects, and AHEAD managementParticipate in the mentorship of entry-level team membersPossess strong, detailed product/technology/industry knowledgeKnowledge of job-associated software and applicationsTravel required up to 20%Qualifications Expertise in observability technologies such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Chronosphere, New Relic, Splunk, etcExpertise in with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and Splunk Enterprise SecurityExpertise as a consultant for clients, advising on technical solutions and participating in pre-sales and solution developmentEnterprise experience with Cloud Infrastructure, networking and system administrationExperience in architecture leadership that brings together and integrates solutions across multiple vendorsAbility to evaluate new technologies and provide internal trainingAbility to understand customer needs, define requirements, and design solutionsAbility to develop and present architectural recommendations and implementation/ assessment servicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsExtensive experience with Visio and PowerPointStrong technical aptitudeProvide technical leadership assuring quality, maximizing team outputSelf-motivatedCribl and Big Panda experience a plusExperience with automation and advanced configuration management tools are a plusWhy AHEAD Through our daily work and internal groups like Moving Women AHEAD and RISE AHEAD, we value and benefit from diversity of people, ideas, experience, and everything in between.We fuel growth by stacking our office with top-notch technologies in a multi-million-dollar lab, by encouraging cross department training and development, sponsoring certifications and credentials for continued learning.USA Employment Benefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k)Paid company holidaysPaid time offPaid parental and caregiver leavePlus more!
