A Junior Engineer performs gravity and lateral calculations and foundation design working closely with a CAD department, clients, architects and senior engineering staff. Key Responsibilities: Perform gravity and lateral analysis for wood framed homes. Coordinate structural details. Provide detailed markups for CAD department Coordinate structural design with applicable building codes, architectural plans geotechnical reports, mechanical plans, civil plans, plumbing layouts and electrical plans provided by others. Minimum Qualifications: E.I.T. Certificate 2 years wood frame design experience including lateral analysis and foundation design. Education Required: Bachelors degree in related field from accredited university
