You’ll be the go‑to engineer for keeping tools running smoothly, fixing complex issues, and improving performance long-term.You’re not just turning wrenches — you’re analyzing data, driving improvements, and mentoring others.Day-to-day responsibilitiesOwn and support 200mm metrology equipmentDiagnose and resolve complex tool issues and failuresPerform and improve preventive maintenance (PM) processesReview SPC charts and respond to out-of-control conditionsTroubleshoot defects and root-cause process issuesIdentify ways to improve tool uptime, throughput, quality, and costSupport new tool installs, startups, and qualificationsTrain and mentor junior engineers and techniciansCommunicate clearly with cross-functional teamsMaintain a strong focus on safety and cleanroom best practicesTools & systems you’ll work withHands-on experience with metrology tools such as:Defect inspection systems (ex: PUMA, SP1)CDSEMFilm thickness / optical metrology toolsWhat they’re looking for8+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering or maintenanceBachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or PhysicsStrong background in preventive & corrective maintenanceExperience troubleshooting electromechanical and optical systemsAbility to read schematics and drawingsProven root-cause analysis skillsComfortable training, mentoring, and leading by exampleQuality-focused mindset with attention to customer requirements
