This role focuses on developing, validating, and back-testing risk models that support clearing initiatives and financial risk analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, analyze, and back-test quantitative risk modelsPerform code release testing and ensure model accuracyValidate historical data and financial datasetsConduct margin model validation and stress testingPerform portfolio back-testing and risk analysisResearch complex financial problems and implement effective solutionsProduce high-quality analysis, documentation, and reporting within deadlinesRequired QualificationsMaster's degree in one of the following:Computer ScienceFinancial EngineeringFinancial MathematicsMathematicsPhysicsor related quantitative fieldStrong quantitative and analytical skillsExcellent programming skills (Python, R, C++, or similar)Knowledge of financial marketsStrong communication and documentation abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in quantitative risk modeling and statistical methodsKnowledge of derivatives pricing and volatility modelsExperience with curve construction and data validationBackground in financial risk management frameworksAdditional RequirementsMust be willing to relocate to Chicago at own expenseAbility to work onsite 5 days per weekStrong problem-solving mindset with attention to detailWork EnvironmentFast-paced, high-impact risk management teamFocus on clearing systems and financial risk modelsCollaborative environment with emphasis on accuracy and performanceRate: $54/hr on W2Please click on the link below for our company benefitsDTI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
