Project Architect

Project ArchitectWe are currently seeking an experienced Project Architect for an established architecture firm in the Tampa Bay area. The office is located in Holiday, FL. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in an architectural firm with strong commercial design and construction document experience.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on projects through conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentationDevelop and coordinate complete construction document setsResolve technical and design issues throughout all phases of a projectCoordinate with clients, consultants, and internal project teamsAssist in managing client expectations, schedules, and team communicationCoordinate plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionParticipate in construction administration and review submittals and finish samplesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture5+ years of professional architectural experienceCommercial design experience requiredStrong construction document experienceRevit and AutoCAD experience preferredPhotoshop and SketchUp experience a plusAbility to develop a complete construction set from design conceptsStrong communication and project coordination skillsArchitectural licensure or progress toward licensure is a plusCandidates with backgrounds as a Project Architect, Architectural Designer, Job Captain, Project Designer, Architectural Project Manager, or Senior Architectural Designer are encouraged to apply.
