Job Description We are looking for motivated Commercial Garage Door Installers for a client in Grand Prairie TX. As an Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of Commercial and custom garage doors. Installers will travel to various service calls throughout the metroplex daily.NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY WILLING TO TRAINTo be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. Must be comfortable interacting with customers daily throughout our service areas.Garage Door Commercial Installer Duties & Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical components or machine partsAdjust equipment to ensure optimal performanceReplace springs, sections, or slatsRepair or replace worn or broken door parts using hand toolsDisassemble equipment for maintenance or repairRemove parts or components from equipment.Install hardware or other interior fixturesFabricate parts or componentsRun wiring to connect equipmentLubricate equipment to allow proper functioningTest mechanical equipment to ensure its functioning properlyDocument operational activitiesCollect payments for good or servicesGarage Door Technician Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalentlyPhysically able to move items weighing 50-100 pounds Able to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc., for extended periods.Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving recordValid driver's licenseReliable and self-motivatedExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
