Financial Accountant

Clarity Homes is a Texas homebuilding and development company seeking a high-capacity accountant to help lead the financial side of our operation. We are looking for someone organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to grow with our company.Responsibilities• Manage daily AR/AP functions• Oversee job costing for residential construction projects• Monitor and forecast company cash flow• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements• Maintain and improve budgeting and forecasting systems• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and inter company balances• Assist with lender draws and construction loan tracking• Work closely with purchasing and operations teams• Maintain accurate WIP/CIP schedules• Support leadership with reporting, analysis, and strategic planning• Ensure organization and accountability within accounting systemsRequirements• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required• Strong Excel skills required• Experience with construction or homebuilding accounting preferred• Understanding of job costing and cash flow management• Ability to create and analyze financial statements• Strong organizational and communication skills• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment• Experience with AI tools such as Claude or similar platforms preferred• QuickBooks experience CompensationCompetitive salary based on experience, along with growth opportunities within a respected homebuilding company. 401k, Health, PTO.
