You’ll partner closely with product, data, and R&D teams to turn greenfield ideas and prototypes into secure, scalable, production-ready systems. Your work will directly support technology that helps millions of people access essential food, health, and social services more easily and efficiently.Responsibilities include:Leading and scaling platform engineering teams across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, reliability, and performanceDriving infrastructure and architectural decisions that balance speed, cost, scalability, and compliancePartnering with product engineering teams to enable scalable, composable SaaS architecturesOwning platform-level data ingestion and integration frameworksEnsuring data pipelines are secure, observable, compliant, and scalableCollaborating with data engineering on data lake, warehouse, and governance initiativesLeading greenfield platform initiatives from concept through productionEstablishing standards and playbooks for graduating prototypes into supported platform capabilitiesManaging the transition of experimental systems from MVP to pilot to productionEmbedding security-by-design into infrastructure and the SDLCSupporting SOC 2, HIPAA, and FedRAMP-aligned environmentsOwning operational readiness, incident response, and disaster recovery practicesProviding infrastructure and tooling to support AI and ML experimentation and deploymentImproving developer experience through automation, self-service tooling, and internal platformsMentoring engineers and technical leads while setting clear goals, roadmaps, and success metricsRequirements and Qualifications:5+ years of leading platform or infrastructure teams that support multiple product teams in a SaaS environmentLead/owned infrastructure, DevOps, data ingestion, observability, cybersecurity, or AI enablementProven work experience in security- or compliance-driven environmentsExperience supporting ML/AI data workflows, such as feature stores, training pipelines, or RAG systemsPrevious work experience in a startup or high-growth company
