So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed? Provides instructions and assists customers with various types of basic computer problems/questions such as system and equipment compatibility. Explains and recommends various computer and audio/video merchandise and in-home installation services to customers to make buying decisions. Sells electronic goods where technical knowledge is required in such areas as: home entertainment systems, surround sound systems, Plasma LCD HDTV, personal computers (PCs), DVD players, cameras, camcorders, MP3 players, etc. Practices loss prevention procedures and performs other related retail sales duties. Uses a Point-of-Sales system, processing cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling) including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customer.The Qualifiers Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
