Business Development Manager - Dedicated Sales
Dupré Logistics is seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Dedicated Business Development Manager to help expand our dedicated transportation and private fleet solutions business. This role is heavily focused on prospecting, generating activity, opening doors, and creating meaningful touchpoints with prospective customers across targeted markets and industries.This is a true hunter role designed for someone who thrives on building pipelines, developing relationships, creating opportunities, and driving new business conversations. The ideal candidate is motivated by outbound activity, networking, strategic outreach, and uncovering transportation opportunities with shippers that could benefit from dedicated transportation solutions.The Dedicated Business Development Manager will work closely with operations and leadership teams to transition qualified opportunities into solution development and customer onboarding.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & ProspectingDevelop and execute strategic prospecting plans within targeted industries and geographic marketsGenerate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person meetingsBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of dedicated transportation opportunitiesIdentify companies operating private fleets or utilizing dedicated transportation providersOpen doors with decision-makers including transportation managers, supply chain leaders, operations leaders, and executive stakeholdersSchedule discovery meetings and introductory conversations for leadership and solution design teamsRelationship ManagementDevelop long-term relationships with prospective customers through consistent communication and follow-upMaintain detailed activity tracking and pipeline management within CRM systemsPartner with internal operations and leadership teams to align customer opportunities with operational capabilitiesQualifications2+ years of transportation business development experience is needed to applyProven ability to prospect, cold call, and generate business opportunitiesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated with high activity and follow-up disciplineComfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentCRM experience preferredAbility to travel periodically for customer visits and industry eventsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus incentive opportunityMedical, dental, and vision coverage
