Full Stack PHP Systems Developer

*PHP Programmer* (2 Full-Time Positions Available) *We're not simply looking for someone who knows how to code. We're looking for programmers who genuinely love programming and solving problems.* Callagy is growing, and we're looking for *two experienced Full Stack PHP Developers* to maintain, enhance, and continue developing our proprietary in-house Case Management Systems. This is a hands-on role for developers who enjoy being given a real-world problem, understanding what needs to happen, and figuring out the best way to make it work. Our environment is *high-volume, fast-moving, and constantly evolving.* Priorities change, new ideas emerge, and our systems continue to grow. We need developers who can think independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of a problem from concept through solution. What We're Looking For * *3–5+ years of professional software development experience* * Strong professional experience with *Vanilla PHP* * Strong *MySQL/database* experience * Full-stack development experience * Working knowledge of *JavaScript, HTML, and CSS* * Experience maintaining and improving existing production applications * Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills * Ability to work within and understand an established codebase * Ability to take a business problem and independently develop a technical solution * Creative problem-solving skills * Ability to multitask and reprioritize in a *high-volume, fast-changing environment* *Professional experience matters to us.* The 3–5 years we're looking for means experience developing software in a professional environment—not school assignments, coursework, bootcamp exercises, or academic projects. *What You'll Do* * Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our proprietary Case Management Systems * Develop new functionality based on real-world business needs * Work directly with legal teams and system users * Translate business problems and user requests into technical solutions * Diagnose and correct application and database issues * Process tickets involving errors, functionality, enhancements, and system changes * Improve existing workflows and functionality * Develop custom solutions for problems that may not have an obvious answer * Help transition functionality from our older system into our newer platform * Support reporting, integrated email/fax, document generation, and financial functionality *Our Environment* Our technology is centered around *Vanilla PHP and MySQL*, with MySQL database tables across multiple servers and front-end functionality using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. These are proprietary systems built specifically around the needs of our organization.
