IT Project Manager
IT Project ManagerCGI is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology projects supporting cloud, analytics, and infrastructure initiatives within a large financial services environment. This role is responsible for managing projects from planning through implementation and testing, coordinating technical and business teams, and ensuring work is delivered in alignment with scope, schedule, dependencies, and project objectives. The Project Manager will maintain project plans, track issues and risks, facilitate status and risk management meetings, and provide clear reporting to project stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong IT project management experience, a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and experience supporting analytics, infrastructure, or cloud based technology initiatives. Familiarity with AWS environments and AI enabled tools is beneficial.The Project Manager will:Manage projects from planning through implementation and testingCoordinate technical and business teamsEnsure work is delivered in alignment with scope, schedule, dependencies, and project objectivesMaintain project plansTrack issues and risksFacilitate status and risk management meetingsProvide clear reporting to project stakeholdersRequired qualifications to be successful in this role include:5+ years of hands on IT project management experience, including complex technology initiativesStrong project planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery management skillsExperience managing projects involving cloud, analytics platforms, infrastructure, or related enterprise technologiesWorking knowledge of AWS/cloud environments and the ability to coordinate effectively with technical teamsStrong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and technology implementation processesProficiency with project planning and management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platformsExperience identifying and managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation plansAbility to coordinate and guide cross functional project teams across technical and business workstreamsStrong stakeholder management skills, including status reporting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, and issue resolutionExperience with established project management methodologies and practicesStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverablesFamiliarity with AI tools and AI enabled workflows, including tools used to generate or work with dataFinancial services experience is a plusDesired Skillset: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred, but not required. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.Compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $138,600.00.
