Land Use Attorney

We are working with an Award Winning Law Firm and they are looking for a Land Use Attorney to join their firm. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 3+ years of experience.Requirements:3+ years of Land Use experienceExperience practicing law, preferably with direct exposure to municipal, county, or state government law.Strong knowledge of statutory law, constitutional law, and administrative procedures governing local municipalities.Licensed and in good standing in Washington StateResponsibilities:Act as a legal advisor to the city council, city manager, department heads, and various municipal boards on everyday operational and administrative legal matters.Draft, review, and revise municipal ordinances, resolutions, deeds, leases, public contracts, and official communications to ensure legal compliance and protect the municipality's interests.Represent the municipality in civil litigation, administrative hearings, and enforcement of municipal codes or traffic violations in local, state, and federal courts.Provide guidance on complex land use, zoning, eminent domain, environmental regulations, and public works projects.The annual salary for this position is between 140k-170k.
