Job Description We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a growing behavioral health organization providing treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions .This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a patient-centered, high-quality care environment and wants to be part of a program focused on individualized treatment, clinical excellence, and long-term recovery outcomes .You will play a key role in supporting clinical operations across multiple treatment locations within close geographic proximity , allowing for continuity of care without excessive travel.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessmentsDiagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, and substance use disordersDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansProvide medication management , including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medicationsDeliver supportive psychotherapy and clinical interventions as appropriateCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, medical staff, and case managersParticipate in treatment planning, case reviews, and care coordinationMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMREducate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and medicationsEnsure compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standardsProvide clinical coverage and support across multiple nearby program locationsQualificationsBoard Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)Active and unrestricted NP license in the applicable stateDEA license (or ability to obtain)Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or dual diagnosis preferredStrong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent communication and patient engagement skillsIdeal CandidateExperience in residential, detox, or outpatient behavioral health settingsComfortable managing co-occurring psychiatric and substance use casesOrganized and able to effectively manage responsibilities across multiple sitesValues a holistic, patient-first approach to careInterested in contributing to a growing, quality-driven clinical programAdaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environmentWhat’s OfferedFull-time, stable clinical roleCompetitive compensationSupportive clinical infrastructureOpportunity to work across well-coordinated programs in close proximityAbility to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomesPosition EnvironmentCollaborative, multidisciplinary settingFocus on evidence-based and individualized treatment approaches
