The right candidate will possess a strong core Systems Administration skillset that they can draw upon to accomplish Neptune objectives working in an Agile framework. Candidates must have demonstrable experience supporting AWS infrastructure.Key responsibilities:Build, support, and optimize infrastructure and resources in Amazon Web Services (AWS)Monitor, manage, and configure all LAN and WAN devices (switches, access points, firewalls)Design, implement, and support on-premises virtualization solutionsMonitor and manage data center operations for Enterprise IT applicationsManage backup and disaster recovery systems for on-premises applicationsAct as Tier 3 escalation point for Service Desk team to ensure timely ticket resolutionApply critical security patches and coordinate updatesRecommend infrastructure improvements for performance and uptimeParticipate in on-call rotation and work outside business hours as needed for emergency support and planned maintenanceMinimum of 3 days per week working on-site at Neptune locationRequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience:Minimum 5 years as Firewall, Network, or System AdminMinimum 2 years AWS Infrastructure Deployment and SupportInfrastructure as Code experience preferred (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar)Firewall management and network switch configurationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiencesHigh attention to detail and personal organizationLocation:Tallassee, Alabama or Duluth, GAEqual Opportunity Employer EEO/AA M/F/Vet DisabilityEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
