A company is looking for an Underwriter Trainee to participate in a comprehensive training program for developing underwriting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Learn to evaluate mortality risk using applications, medical data, and related reports
Develop foundational knowledge in medical, financial, and lay underwriting; support cases up to $1M
Document underwriting rationale and meet quality, service, and production milestones
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of professional work experience
1+ years experience in a fast-paced or changing environment
1+ years of demonstrated analytical thinking
Completion of LOMA 281 & 291 within 7 months of hire
