As our Construction Manager, you will not just manage a construction project site; you will lead the "green revolution" by transforming existing buildings into ultra-efficient, resilient facilities. Core Responsibilities Team Leadership: Direct a multi-disciplinary delivery team, including Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and specialized subcontractors. Project Execution: Oversee the full lifecycle of complex Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) to ensure "turnkey" delivery. Site Safety & Quality: Champion a culture of excellence by enforcing site-specific safety programs and rigorous quality control standards. Strategic Financial Management: Manage multi-million dollar budgets, drive technical due diligence, and navigate high-value subcontract negotiations. Client Partnership: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term performance guarantees. Innovation & Tech: Implement measurement-based monitoring, commissioning protocols, and advanced project management software (MS Project, Primavera). What You Bring Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction project management specifically with HVAC, controls, electrical, and central utilities. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or 15+ years of equivalent field leadership). Mission-Driven: A genuine passion for energy efficiency, alternative energy, and building a more sustainable future. Adaptability: Ability to manage high-performing teams through the irregular hours and logistical challenges of live-building retrofits. Certification: OSHA-30 certification is highly preferred. Mobility: Willingness to maintain a high presence at project sites (approx. 80% field presence) throughout the DMV or travel as required for national projects. Why CEG Solutions? Physical Demands and Work Environment Performance of the job responsibilities will require the ability to (1) use tools and operate equipment in the field, (2) ascend/descend both exterior and interior ladders/stairs, and (3) move safely around an area under construction. The employee must also be able to easily communicate with clients, stakeholders, and other employees and observe various pieces of equipment in the field.
