Construction Project Engineer

*Overview* As a Project Engineer at Com-Bro Contracting, Inc., we are looking for an individual to support the day-to-day execution of complex water and wastewater facility construction projects. You will work closely alongside management and field teams. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and review procedures to ensure compliance with schedules, standards, and specifications. Location: A combination of in the office and various job sites in the DC/Baltimore Metro *Duties* * Assist with estimating efforts including collecting bids and supporting change order pricing * Review submittals and shop drawings * Perform quality control checks on materials and documentation * Track deliveries, materials, and equipment on site * Assist with project scheduling and updating progress * Prepare and track RFIs and project documentation * Maintain project records and assist with reporting * Help prepare work plans and support major field activities *Experience and Education* * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field * 0–3 years of experience in construction or a related field preferred * Experience with water or wastewater treatment plant construction * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Paid time off Language: * English (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
