Deployment Technician

firstPRO is seeking a PC Deployment Technician for a 6-month consulting project. This is a 100% onsite position, so candidates must be local to Dover, Delaware to be considered. Compensation for this role is $30/hr.Responsibilities Coordinate device deployment by interacting with end users and department managers. Collaborate with project managers and end users to understand migration needs, create deployment schedules, and ensure clear communication. Configure and stage clinical and non-clinical devices (PCs, phones, and peripherals) on-site or at a configuration center. Deploy and manage Windows 10-11 machines, including basic network connectivity troubleshooting. Manage equipment, repurposing machines for redeployment or disposal. Report deployment success and issues to the project team. Work as part of a team of 4-8 deployment technicians, supporting migrations and ensuring smooth transitions. Requirements 2-3 years of experience in computer hardware installation, maintenance, and repair. Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills, with a customer-focused, positive attitude. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to write and maintain clear system documentation, release, and implementation plans. Strong attention to detail, with problem investigation and diagnostic skills.
