Look for us on the field, in the gym and around town.Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: As an Engineering manager your responsibilities will include leading and supervising engineering teams, developing and implementing engineering plans and procedures, performing and overseeing detailed designs and product verification and validation, inspecting and troubleshooting components and systems, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The Senior manager manages the design and analysis of components and systems to meet specified requirements and standards, provides technical direction to team members in designing, developing and testing systems or components.Key Responsibilities:Leading and managing a team of engineers including resource allocation and performance management.Identifying and resolving technical roadblocks and challenges, supporting the team in problem-solving and decision-making.Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.Encouraging a culture of innovation and creativity, promoting experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking.Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives.Minimum Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical)8+ years of related experienceLed a team of engineers in the pastSuccessfully executed at least 3 end-to-end product launches in medical device industry with no major quality issuesExcellent written and oral communication skillsTravel Requirements:Should be flexible to travel up to 10% of timeDesired Characteristics:Expert in Solidworks or equivalent CAD tools is highly preferred.Creativity, communication and teamwork skills.Time management abilities."Creating better together".
