What you’ll be doing This position is the eyes and ears onsite and isn’t afraid to wear multiple hats, excels in an autonomous environment, and has maintenance and/or construction experience in the multi-family industry. Primary duties are maintaining the community, maintenance work orders and make readies, emergency callouts and preventative maintenance. Occasional duties include customer service and light admin support. This position reports to the Portfolio Manager and has frequent communication with the owner. What we need from you Location and requirements · Location: 2 properties with 50 units total in Greeley / Evans, CO, and ability to support other local communities within the portfolio when needed · Hours: approximately 10-20 hours per week, depending on seasonal needs · Schedule: typically Monday-Friday, and emergency calls on nights and weekends when needed · High school diploma or equivalent · Minimum 2 years’ property management maintenance experience · Bilingual (Spanish) a big plus but not required · Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation · HVAC certification preferred but not required · Must be able to lift 50lbs, walk/stand frequently, provide basic tools, and use own mobile device Skill Set Required · Plumbing – sweat/solder pipe, repair/replace major toilet parts, plumbing fixtures, and shut-off valves. Snake sinks, tubs, toilets, etc. · Electrical – change bulbs, outlets, fixtures and ballasts · HVAC – A/C units, window units and swamp coolers. Boilers – pumps, temp controls and efficiency · Paint – drywall patches, full and touch-up paint · Professional communication in person and electronically with residents and corporate team · Technical skills to utilize email, Microsoft Office, and maintenance app What skills you’ll bring to the team Duties and Responsibilities Maintenance: · Make readies – prewalk, turn unit once vacant, including paint, maintenance, and renovations · Work orders – address within 48 hours, troubleshoot issues · On-Call – respond within 30 minutes to emergency maintenance calls · Preventative maintenance – conduct periodic and scheduled inspections and repairs · Callout vendors when needed.
