Customer Service Representative / Sales Associate / Cashier Location: Furniture Mecca – 501 South 69th Street Upper Darby, PA 19082 Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time About the Role We are seeking motivated Customer Service Representatives with Sales Experience who are also comfortable working as cashiers. This is not a basic CSR position — this role combines customer service, sales, and checkout responsibilities. Furniture experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with any sales background (retail sales, phone sales, customer-facing sales, etc.) are encouraged to apply. You’ll help customers from start to finish — greeting them, assisting with product selection, closing sales, and processing payments. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide excellent in-store and phone support Actively assist customers with furniture selection and purchasing decisions Close sales and work toward personal/store sales goals Handle cashier duties: processing payments, financing paperwork, and receipts Answer product questions and recommend solutions based on customer needs Make outbound follow-up calls on quotes, orders, and leads Maintain accurate transactions in the POS system Help keep showroom clean, organized, and presentable Support deliveries, special orders, and customer follow-ups What We’re Looking For Some sales experience required (retail, phone sales, or similar) Comfortable handling money and working as a cashier Strong communication skills (in person & over the phone) Confident asking for the sale and closing customers Customer-focused, reliable, and goal-oriented Able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Furniture or mattress sales experience is a plus (not required) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + commission opportunities Sales training provided Growth opportunities within the company Supportive team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per week Work Location: In person
