Facilities Manager (Prometheus)

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility operations. This role will report to the Director of Operations and is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our employees and visitors. The Facilities Manager will manage maintenance, cleaning staff, , vendor relations, space planning, and sustainability initiatives while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Job DescriptionFacility Construction and Equipment InstallationEnd-to-End Build-Out of a new facility design and construction, ensuring the successful delivery of structural modifications, space layouts, utility routing, etc. Orchestrate Equipment Installations: Direct the placement, installation, utility connection, and start up for heavy industrial machinery, coordinating with OEM technicians to ensure full compliance with manufacturer specifications and strict safety codes. Facility ManagementDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facility systems. Coordinate repairs and renovations, managing projects from conception to execution. Cleaning Staff SupervisionManage and schedule cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning protocols. Space Planning and UtilizationAssess and optimize facility space usage based on organizational needs and growth. Develop and implement office layouts and configurations to improve workflow and employee productivity. Asset Management:Develop systems for asset management that support lifecycle tracking and cost-effective procurement. Maintain an inventory of all facility assets, including furniture, equipment, and machinery. Maintain inventory and tracking of all government and customer furnished assets including tooling, equipment, and instrumentation Track the condition and performance of assets, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, operations management, or related field. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams. Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. Proficient in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information in accordance with government and company requirements. U.S. citizenship required and the ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
