Cycle Counter (Hillsboro, OR) 1 Functional area: Quality Country: United States City: Hillsboro Company name: Edwards Vacuum, LLC Date of posting: Aug 29, 2024 Your role Inventory Control Specialist: • Timely update of data within SAP to reflect correct inventory information, notifying appropriate teams • Perform daily cycle counts in warehouse Maintain product identification and location accuracy Research inventory discrepancies • Report discrepancies to internal stakeholders and Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis • Collaborate with cycle counting team and warehouse to maintain inventory integrity Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to safety or health of employee or others. To succeed, you will need Education level: High School or GED required Relevant previous experience: 2 years minimum in either warehousing, material handling and / or manufacturing combined Knowledge areas/Skills: Inventory control, cycle counting, Kanban and order picking preferred • MRP System experience required; SAP preferred • Detail oriented mindset, able to keep track of large numbers of inventory items Basic math skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to set priorities, follow instructions and exercise independent judgment when appropriate Good communication skills both written and verbal Possess intermediate computer skills which includes thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise software systems Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly, with strong communication skills A self-starter who can set priorities, demonstrate initiative and the ability to get the job done Must be capable of following instructions and exercising good independent judgment when appropriate Other requirements: Mid Level SAP or ERP expereince is preferred. Ability to work overtime on occasion when requested, but is primarily on a volunteer basis. Physical requirements: This position is very active, and requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and sitting for long amounts of time Ability to lift 40lbs without assistance and/or 50lbs with assistance.
