Key Responsibilities
Repair dents, damaged panels, and structural components using welding, sanding, and metalworking techniques.
Prep, prime, and paint vehicles and equipment for a high-quality, durable finish.
Sandblast, treat rust, and apply undercoating to extend equipment life.
Replace or repair bumpers, fenders, hoods, and other body components.
Install decals, reflectors, and safety markings as required for compliance.
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment, including tools and spray booth areas.
Inspect completed work to ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize bodywork and complete jobs efficiently.
Track parts and materials used, communicating supply needs promptly.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
2-5 years of experience in auto body repair or heavy equipment refinishing.
Proficiency in welding, sanding, priming, and painting.
Ability to safely operate tools such as grinders, sanders, spray guns, and welding equipment.
Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
Knowledge of safety protocols for paint, chemicals, and PPE.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Vocational training or certification in auto body repair.
Experience with large vehicles or heavy equipment bodywork.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
