With 700 employees nationwide, they have become one of the largest and most established firms in the United States.Reasons to work for this company:Opportunity to get involved with challenging projects across many different industriesThey offer comprehensive medical/dental insuranceProfit Sharing/401K match and Employee Stock Ownership PlanThey have a great reputation in the industry and with their customersSummary: You will be responsible for controls engineering project requirements involving control system design, control panel design, PLC programming, instrumentation, checkout support, and start-up assistance.ResponsibilitiesDesigns, develops, and implements control systems (logic software and hardware) to meet process system requirementsDevelops schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and designs equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD softwareDevelop Sequence of Operation document detailing control strategies for the process under control. Lead design reviews with the customer for review and approval of design documentsWork at the customer site to perform the system checkout and start-up of the integrated control systemDevelop the final record system documentation and provide system training to the customerIndividual will be working on automation and control system integration projects for clients across multiple industries, including both manufacturing production lines and data center building automationWill act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers and techniciansWill act as Project Manager on smaller projects ranging from $50K to $250K. This includes, but is not limited to:Developing and executes implementation plans for the projectAssigning work to meet overall project deadlinesEnsuring that all project team members clearly understand the scope of W-M responsibilitiesDeveloping schedules for W-M and customer requirementsEvaluating progress on the project and details changesTaking responsibility for all purchasing and subcontractor requirementsTaking responsibility for the development of costs and proposal of change orders to the contract scopeMinimum RequirementsEducation: BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.Experience: 3+ years of experience in the areas below:An in-depth understanding of control systems, components, logic programming, experience with instrumentation and controls design, and PLC systems (i.e., Allen Bradley, Schneider Modicon, Siemens, GE-IP) is required. Experience with AutoCAD is also desiredStrong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and work with both team members, subcontractors, and clientsAbility to travel up to 50%To comply with some state laws, the annual base salary range for this position has been provided.
