Cardio Dance Instructor

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Cardio Dance Instructor. The Position Under the direction of the Fitness Manager, the Cardio Dance Instructor is responsible for leading classes with enthusiasm and demonstrating safe and effective exercise techniques. Well-prepared, relevant, safe, and effective programming will be taught in a professional manner, resulting in friendly, convenient, and courteous service. Major Job Responsibilities: Experience with Active Aging populations is not required but preferred Introduce yourself to class participants. Introduce your class format and expectations to class participants. Prepare and organize class in advance. Follow the class format and time restraints. Choose appropriate music and vary your selections. Begin and end class on time. End class by congratulating and thanking participants and promoting upcoming classes/programs. Find substitutes to cover shifts. Attend to and report any medical incidents according to company protocol. Initiate emergency procedures as trained. Clean up before and after class. Adhere to best practices. Qualification Requirements: Any relevant group fitness certifications CPR certified First Aid certification encouraged Excellent people skills Certificate of professional liability insurance or willingness to get insurance.
