Mentorship and professional development training are a focus throughout your entire career.ResponsibilitiesCreate an annual strategy of events that promote and align with the store’s goals and creates customer and store interactionExecute first class events to drive sales, traffic, and community good-willCoordinates schedules, organize materials, review transportation itineraries and book venues and services Determine and direct events, including:BudgetAdvertisingStaff needsCoordinates registration and payment procedures, promotional advertising and mailings and corporate sponsorship activities Provide project status updates to store leader and leadership teamManage public relations between Scheels and our customers, sponsors and within our communityUnderstand the SCHEELS brand and event marketing strategiesWelcome, greet and address customers in friendly and courteous manner while providing prompt and outstanding services Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization while working on projectsDemonstrate strong oral/written communication skills, organization, attention to detail, problem solving and presentation skills, to communicate effectively Leadership and management experience along with a strong knowledge of Scheels’ policies and applicable lawsBe professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels’ policies and proceduresAbility to work assigned schedule which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
