This position will pre sell product to assigned off-premise accounts in a designated area.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesTakes adequate inventory at each account in order to make proper recommendations of product needs and to maintain properly stocked inventory levelsRestocks account inventories by moving product from back rooms to cold boxes, displays and shelves (cold and warm) in assigned accounts ensuring all products are within code dateSells displays, authorized products and packages, shelf facings, and Point of Sale materialsFollows Suppliers’ agreement guidelines at each account and maintains proper code dates for all productsMerchandises products, restocks products, makes space adjustments as allowed, builds displays and installs POS as agreed upon by retailerEnsures appropriate paper P.O.S. is in accounts and ensures pricing is in placeDevelops and maintains good communication with managers at each accountNotifies Area Sales Manager of all pertinent changes in accounts assigned including file maintenance, license updates, route scheduling and competitive activity. Submits daily activity reports to supervisorMaintain knowledge of SED's complete and growing portfolio of Brands andPackagesContinually strives to achieve the number one position in each account in the placement of paper (promotional and theme) and permanent P.O.S. to ensure Silver Eagle dominanceOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferredTwo (2) years directly related sales and marketing experience requiredPrior grocery/convenience store and/or consumer products experience a strong plusExcellent communication and organizational skillsAble to handle alcohol, and work within T.A.B.C GuidelinesA dependable personal motor vehicle, suitable for work use, and capable of transporting up to 20 cases of product and/or display materials with proof of liability insurance.Intermediate computer knowledge in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point Margin Minder and Mobility knowledge preferredMust have a cell phone with data capabilityMust have a valid Texas Driver’s License and driving record within MVR policy guidelinesPhysical RequirementTalk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)Continuous standing and walking, up to 8 hours at a timeContinuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20-161lbsAbility to operate a two or four-wheel dollyMust be able to push 300lbs dolly load and move 161lb kegsMust be able to safely operate a pallet jackFrequent driving distances between 0-75 miles in one sittingFrequent climbing pushing, pulling and maneuvering dolly, hand truck, boxes, cases, and kegsWorking ConditionsAll weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snowDaylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditionsNoise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumesWork hours will vary daily due to business needsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
