About the Role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Computer Vision ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision models and algorithms and leverage data engineering skills to drive success and deliver exceptional results. You will collaborate closely with talented cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that drive business outcomes and enhance our products and services. Estimated Salary: $120,000-$130,000 depending on background and experience Key Responsibilities: Computer Vision Development: Design, develop, and deploy computer vision models for various applications, including object detection, image segmentation, and video analysis. Model Optimization: Improve the performance, accuracy, and scalability of computer vision algorithms through continuous evaluation and refinement. Data Engineering: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and analyze large volumes of visual data, ensuring data quality and integrity. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and integrate computer vision systems into existing platforms. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and data engineering, and apply new techniques and technologies to solve challenging problems. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for models, data pipelines, and processes. Prepare and present reports on project progress and results. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in computer vision and data engineering roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering computer vision solutions and managing data pipelines. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in programming languages in particular Python Hands-on experience with computer vision libraries and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras). Experience with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, SQL, ETL processes). Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application to computer vision tasks. Drive to explore and integrate new AI tools into your workflow Experience with AWS cloud platform Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
