About the Position
Dexis is recruitingPolicy Analystto supportanticipatedprogrammingwith the Department ofWar(DoW). This opportunity will provideprogram support, policy support, and technicalassistanceservices to support Counterdrug(CD)/Counter-Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC)/Counter-Threat Finance (CTF)mission needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), The Joint Staff,Combatant Commands(CCMDs), Military Departments, and Defense Agencies.
This positionis contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of changes to the international political-military environment and the potential impacts onDoWand USG efforts to counter global drug trafficking and other illicit threat network activities that threaten U.S. national security interests.
Provide advice and recommendations to USG decision makersregardingthe implications of existing or proposed changes to USG international agreements, military sales, security cooperation investments, and similar activities on CD/CTOC/CTF policies and programs.
Analyze national security policy issues related toDoWsupport of National Drug Control Program objectives, identify stakeholder equities, and assist USG personnel in developing responsive CD/CTOC/CTF programs in coordination with other OSD offices, the Joint Staff, CCMDs, Military Departments, Defense Agencies, the USG Intelligence Community, other USG Departments, and U.S. and foreign law enforcement partners.
Provide decision-supportassistanceto ODASD (CN&SP) and USG personnel by analyzing ongoing and proposed CCMD and Defense Agency CD/CTOC/CTF programs and activities and making recommendations, based on USG guidance, for investment or other programmatic changes.
Qualifications
ActiveTop Secretclearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
Possessa master's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field of study.
Possess ten (10) years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within theDoW, other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents, and will be expected to perform at the level of a mid-range GS-15 equivalent.
Shallpossessexceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to translate highly technical information into plain language for effective communication withDoWand other USG staff in the performance of all duties,tasksand services.
