The Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by safely and efficiently delivering products to job sites, offices, and customers throughout the region. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company delivery vehicles to transport doors, frames, hardware, and other materials to and from customer locations and job sites. Load and deliver customer orders promptly and accuratelyVerify orders for accuracy before loading and unloadingManually, load, secure, and protect materials to prevent damage during transportObtain required signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentationCommunicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customers regarding delivery schedules or delaysComplete a daily vehicle inspection and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediatelyFollow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policiesAssist with warehouse duties as needed, including loading/unloading trucks and organizing materialsServe as the primary representative of S.A. Morman and Co. when interacting with customers, by upholding our reputation for quality and reliabilityQualificationsRequirementValid drivers license with a clean driving recordClass B driver's licensePrevious delivery or commercial driving experience preferredAbility to lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs. regularlyKnowledge of safe lifting and loading techniquesExcellent communication and time management skillsFamiliarity with basic delivery documentation and mobile delivery apps a plusReliable, punctual, and detail orientedCustomer serviceS.A.
