Fabrication Assembler - 2nd Shift (2:30pm to 11:00pm)
Hourly Rate: $18.75
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
Use hand tools to assemble fabricated parts and perform basic operations on manufacturing equipment/machines
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Perform various tasks including using hand tools to assemble fabricated parts at floor stations, perform basic operations on standard manufacturing machinery, and product packaging
Test and calibrate assembled mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used by the team
Be aware of all Quality requirements
Follow the Work Instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines
Identify any documentation errors and bring to the attention of the Line Leader (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions)
Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have the ability to:
Safely operate heavy equipment that is known to interfere with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators and other electrical medical implants
Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
Be cross-trained for multiple jobs within assigned work area(s)
Work under general supervision and direction from leadership team
Safely use hand tools and standard power tools
Operate machines safely with minimal supervision
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Use a hydraulic lift, hand tools, standard power tools, measuring tools, small table lifting device and electronic testing equipment
Read and comprehend work instructions
Push/Pull/Lift 50 lbs.
Stand/Bend/Kneel
Must have:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
No experience required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment using hand or power tools to assemble parts or product preferred
At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating machinery preferred
Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
PREFERRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
